What is a lace wig?
A lace wig is a special type of wig that is built on a thin lace base. Each strand of hair is woven into the base creating a natural hair follicle look. Because of the construction of the wig, it can be parted anywhere and styled in many different ways. At Girlfriends Hair and Wigs, we say it's like putting on a head of hair.
Who can wear a lace wig?
Anyone can wear a lace wig. They were originally made to be worn by women with hair loss since the construction makes it look just the hair is growing from your scalp. But today, the wig is being worn by everyone. The natural hairline gives the illusion that the wig is growing from the scalp. Women simply braid their hair and/or put on a wig cap before wearing the wig.
How long can you wear a lace wig?
That depends on your preference. If you apply a lace wig using the special adhesives, it can be worn for weeks at a time. Or, you can get up and put it on daily.
Can you sleep in a lace wig?
Yes, if it is applied with the special adhesives, it is just like a head of hair. However, it is always wise -- for the longevity of the wig -- to sleep on a satin pillowcase.
How do you care for a lace wig?
Holding the top, swish and dunk the wig around in a basin of warm water and shampoo, ensuring that the hair is falling in the downward direction. Rinse the wig the same way in a basin of clear warm water.. Squeeze gently to remove all excess water. Then part where you want to wear your part, comb and hang on a mannequin head.

What is a 360 Lace Wig?
A 360 lace wig is the latest technology in lace wigs. It is often referred to as an "anatomic" wig because it has an "anatomic arc" that has been constructed to more comfortably and more naturally fit your head... It has 360 circular lace around the perimeter so the hair can be parted freely in the front, sides and back.
Can I wear the wig in a high ponytail?
Our 360 design allows for 4.5" width lace int he front for deep parting and 1.75" width lace in the back for a high ponytail and updo to that the wig can be freely styled per your liking. use the highest quality 100% virgin Brazilian hair.
